Historical Scripts - Cursive Gothic (Batarde) |
|
This is an everyday more freely written hand that developed from formal Gothic. It is significant in that to write it lots of nib twisting is necessary in contrast to most of the other scripts which use a single pen angle only. This is a personal favorite as I enjoy the attractive effects of the
thicks and thins. It tends to be easier to read than Gothic but still
quite formal looking. |
